Summer Camp
Foothills
Montessori School offers a full and engaging summer camp program
to continue to educate our students and enrich their experience.
The
perfect balance of recreation and learning, our camps are
structured, stimulating, and welcoming. We offer two camps,
one for primary age children (3-6 year olds) and one for elementary
age children (6-14 year olds).
They
run for ten weeks in the summer, from June until August. Registration
begins in the beginning of April. Ten different sessions are
planned, each with a different topic.
Past
primary camp sessions have had themes such as “Fairy
Tales with a Twist,” “Let’s Get Cooking,”
and “Diggin’ Dinosaurs.” Past elementary
camp sessions have had themes such as “Up in the Air,”
a study of the science of flight and gases, “Who Done
It,” a crime scene investigation and mystery theater,
and “Wrappin’ up the Summer,” an exploration
of ancient Egyptian culture.
The
classes are prepared and lead by experienced teachers from
our regular staff, highly qualified specialists, and dedicated
professionals from the community. You can sign your child
up for the entire week full day, or half day either in the
morning or the afternoon, or you may pay by day as a “Drop
In,” either half day or full day. Your child will have
wonderful memories of their time spent with us at “Camp
FMS” making new friends and playing outside, and they
will benefit from the additional lessons in academic subjects
such as math, language, culture, and science. Please join
us for some exciting summer fun!
