Spanish Immersion

By learning Spanish in the classroom, students build a foundation for bilingualism and gain a knowledge and understanding of the Hispanic culture. Lina Streit is our Primary Spanish teacher. Maria Pate is our Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Middle School Spanish teacher.

All students are taught commands, vocabulary, phrases, and sentences through songs, activities, stories, dramatizations, projects, games, and visuals. Upper Elementary and Middle School students learn how to read, write, and converse in Spanish.
