Spanish Immersion Program

By learning Spanish in the classroom, students build a foundation for bilingualism and gain a knowledge and understanding of the Hispanic culture.  All students are taught grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing using Montessori materials.  Beginning in lower elementary, student responses are given in Spanish.  

Spanish Special- 1st and 2nd Grade

Each student works in a small group and receives instruction from a Spanish speaking teacher.  Students are exposed to listening, speaking and reading, preparing them for Rosetta Stone.

This award winning program correlates to state and national standards,  so students get the very best language-learning solution available.  The user interface captivates our students, keeping them engaged in learning while the program helps them acquire critical language skills.  This program features: interactive speaking activities, milestones at the end of each unit to simulate real-life conversations, and interactive grammar and spelling activities to reinforce leassons while making the language fun to learn.

Students in grades 3 work to utilize the Spanish language program; while grades 4-8 may choose from one of eight languages.  Students are required to complete a specific number  of hours each week.
